Connection Walk & Book Reading at Browsers Bookstore (Olympia)

Join Jonathon Stalls, author of WALK - Slow Down, Wake Up & Connect at 1-3 Miles per Hour for a 45-minute connection walk and book reading/signing at Browsers Bookshop on Saturday, July 29th!

Connection Walk at 3:00 PM:

If you are joining our optional connection walk/roll happening before the reading, please plan to arrive at Browsers Bookshop (outside the front entrance) - 107 Capital Way N, Olympia, 98501 - a little before 3:00 pm PT. We will begin an introduction circle just a couple minutes after 3:00 pm. We will leave for our walk no later than 3:10 pm. Our walk will be roughly 30-40 minutes. The weather forecast looks sunny and wonderful for our walk. Please plan to have comfortable shoes, sunscreen, sunglasses, a cap, water, and anything else you might need. Please also plan to use the restroom in the bookstore prior to our start time. By the time of our event, I will have scouted the route for both walking and rolling on wheelchairs/powered-scooters. If you have any additional access questions, please let me know by reaching me at 720 2630227. Keep in mind I won't be checking messages once we begin our event. 

Update on Reading Portion of Program: 

We have decided to move the reading portion of the evening (starting at 4:00 pm) to outside instead of upstairs. We will have a table outside for the book signing and Jonathon will read from his book on a very short walk/roll (stop & go format, no more than a block from store). The group will be visible from the store and there will be a few chairs outside if needed. The connection walk/roll happening at 3:00 pm will go for several blocks. Please come for one or both, as Jonathon will be sharing a variety of stories and practices.

We will bring the Q&A with us as we move and we will allow extra time for connection and questions when Jonathon signs books. Please consider bringing an umbrella for extra shade. Meet at Browsers Bookshop at 4:00 pm PT or just before for the book reading/signing. 

RSVP for Walk: For anyone planning to register/rsvp here for the walking experience, please consider attending the book reading/signing. If you are only interested in the reading/signing, please just plan to show up outside the bookstore just before 4:00 pm. There is no need to formally RSVP/register here.
